How to Use This Calculator

Choose the amount of peptide you need for your research protocol. Common research doses range from 0.1mg to 5mg depending on the compound. Use the "Other" option for custom values not listed.
This is the total peptide content listed on your vial's label — not the concentration. For example, a vial labeled "BPC-157 5mg" contains 5mg total.
Enter how much bacteriostatic water you added to the vial. More water = more dilute solution = easier to measure small doses. Consult the Bac Water Calculator to determine the optimal amount.
The calculator shows syringe units, mL volume, concentration, and total doses per vial. Use a standard 1mL (100-unit) insulin syringe.

Example Calculation

A 5mg peptide vial reconstituted with 2mL of bacteriostatic water, targeting a 0.25mg dose:

  • Concentration: 5mg / 2mL = 2.5 mg/mL
  • Volume needed: 0.25mg / 2.5 mg/mL = 0.1mL
  • Syringe units: 0.1mL x 100 = 10 units
  • Doses per vial: 5mg / 0.25mg = 20 doses

Frequently Asked Questions

This calculator determines the exact amount of reconstituted peptide solution to draw into a syringe based on your desired dose, vial strength, and bacteriostatic water volume. It converts everything into standard insulin syringe units.
Slowly inject bacteriostatic water along the inside glass wall. Do not shake — gently swirl until dissolved. Store at 2-8°C.
A standard insulin syringe holds 1mL = 100 units. Each unit = 0.01mL.
Typically 14-30 days refrigerated at 2-8°C. Check your COA for specific stability data.
A 1mL (100-unit) insulin syringe with 29-31 gauge needle is standard for most peptide research.
